AACE Safe In The Back Campaign

The #SafeInTheBack campaign is being led by the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives (AACE) on behalf of all UK ambulance services and is designed to highlight the serious implications of not wearing seatbelts or harnessing patients properly in the back of ambulance vehicles.

Incorporating elements of presenter-lead documentary production, this was a tough but rewarding challenge to orchestrate working with active ambulance crews from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and interviewing senior members of the AACE. Both ground and aerial filming was conducted at multiple locations across West Yorkshire, including the Yorkshire Ambulance Station in Leeds City Centre and Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield. You can find out more about the campaign on the AACE website.
